WELDER / FABRICATOR

About the role

Ryco Industries are currently seeking Aluminium welders/fabricators with both TIG and MIG experience

to assist in the fabrication of architecturally designed metalwork for high end construction projects.

You will need to be able to read fabrication drawings, work accurately and to job deadlines.

What you'll be doing

• Performing high-quality welding and fabrication work to industry standards

• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate a variety of metal components and structures

• Operating a range of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders

• Assisting with the assembly and installation of fabricated items

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient and productive workflow

What we're looking for

Ability to read and interpret workshop fabrication drawings.

Professional work ethic, Quality output and attention to detail.

Be able to take direction and work independently.

Parts prep/Finishing – grinding, drilling, punching. Skilled in the use of various fabrication machines.

Other responsibilities and tasks as directed.

Be willing to provide input.

Punctuality / Reliability a must.

A positive/friendly attitude.

Understanding of safety practises.

Good references.

Immediate starts available.
