WELDER SHEET METAL WORKER

We offer a position for a trade qualified Sheetmetal WELDER / Boilermaker that is reliable and enthusiastic with experience in the sheet metal and lightweight metals fabrication industry.

Skills are required in the following;

• Experience in welding light gauge aluminium and stainless steel.
• Experience in MIG aluminium welding and TIG stainless steel welding.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and site plans.
• Experience in on-site welding & polishing of stainless steel.
• Construction Safety (White) Card is an advantage.
• Experience and skills in operating hydraulic brake press and sheet metal guillotine is an advantage.
• Experience in CNC router programming and operating would be an advantage.
• Experience in the Balustrade and Fencing Industry and understanding of various safety codes relating to this industry is an advantage.
• Must have the ability to fabricate job from beginning to end. That is, read plans, measure materials, cut materials, make jig if required and weld product to excellent standard of finish.
• Good health and fitness.
• Resides in or prepared to travel to the Northside of Brisbane.

Forklift Licence preferred but not essential.

Valid Manual Drivers Licence essential.
