Wills & Estates Lawyer (2-3 years PAE)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time, office based, solicitor to join our Wills and Estates team.

We are searching for a solicitor with 2-3 years post admission experience who is committed to developing their skills and knowledge in the area of succession law, in particular estate planning, estate structuring and protection, estate administration and estate litigation. The work will be varied and challenging due to the dynamic nature of our practice and our client base. 

All applicants should have some practice experience in the area of wills and estates including receiving instructions, drafting wills, communication and correspondence with clients, preparing grant applications and estate litigation documents for both the District and Supreme Courts.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a close-knit team and directly with the director of the team allowing you to develop your expertise. 

The role is based in Brisbane.  However, as we have a working office in the Sunshine Coast, there will be an expectation to travel between offices from time to time.
