Workers Compensation Solicitor

What this role offers you

We are looking for an experienced Solicitor with 5+ years PAE to join our busy Personal Injury (Workers Compensation) Team.

You will work across a range of Personal Injury Law with a focus on workers compensation, work injury and motor vehicle accident matters.

 

What you will need to succeed

·      Experience in Workers Compensation and personal injury law

·      A background in employment law is desirable

·      Ability to confidently manage a busy client base/file load

·      Have a positive outlook and be solutions focused

 

Reporting to the Equity Partner, duties will include:

·      Providing high quality legal advice to clients

·      Managing and assessing new client enquiries

·      Attendance in court with strong negotiation and advocacy skills

·      Timely progression of matters and managing client expectations

·      Liaising with clients, insurers, barristers and other professionals

·      Providing guidance and coaching to junior legal practitioners

 

Essentials for the role

·      Current South Australian Practising Certificate - Minimum 5 years PAE

·      Comprehensive knowledge of workers compensation and personal injury legislation

·      A background in employment law is favourable

·      Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

·      Team player who can work independently and deliver high quality services
