Workshop Assistant

We’re looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our busy locksmith workshop. This is a hands-on support role — perfect for someone reliable, organised, and keen to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with workshop tasks and basic tool work

• Follow instructions to complete jobs accurately and efficiently

• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Handle basic customer service when needed

• Keep the workspace tidy and organised

What you’ll learn on the job:

• How to cut keys

• How to assemble and service locks / padlocks and master key systems

• How to use locksmith tools and equipment safely and efficiently

You’ll need to have:

• Good hand-eye coordination

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Basic math skills

• Neat handwriting

• Strong multitasking ability

• Willingness to learn and follow directions

• Friendly attitude and good communication skills ability to be a part of a team

• Experience with hand tools is a bonus
