Workshop Heavy Machinery Mechanic

The Role: A stable career opportunity to work in a professional industry, servicing, diagnosing and maintaining heavy mobile machinery.

This is a workshop-based role, Monday to Friday Day shift with potential for overtime, and some field work and product testing opportunities for the right candidate.
The option for a 9 day per fortnight roster is available, with laundered uniforms included.

A mandatory pre-employment medical exam with random drug & alcohol testing are standard within our industry.

Ideal Candidate: You will possess a relevant trade qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic), own hand tools and an open driver’s license (HR preferred).
A positive team player attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility are required.

You will need to implement good communication skills and literacy, troubleshooting experience, the ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics and maintain documentation.

Exposure to heavy material handling equipment, pneumatic brake systems, automotive electrical systems and extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems highly desirable.
