Are you looking for your next exciting role as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Leading Hand? CJD Equipment is currently looking for an exceptional leader to join our Team at CJD Trucks in Forrestfield!

A key requirement of this busy workshop and role is maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality and customer service at all times, while providing leadership skills to your team in solving technical and operational problems.

A day in the job will see you: 

• Providing mentoring and leadership to the workshop team 

• Working on top brand equipment & trucks - Diagnosing, servicing and repairing to customer & CJD standards 

• Providing assistance to coordinate safe and timely vehicle servicing, repairs and inspection schedules to ensure optimum operational efficiency

• Maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality workmanship and keeping a smile on our customers face at all times. 

Requirements for the role: 

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic trade certificate

• Experience performing maintenance, service, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehicles and carrying our electrical diagnostics and repairs

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus mentality

• A proactive attitude toward safety 

• A stellar attitude and top-notch communication skills

• Experience with PC programs and equipment diagnostic programs

• HR drivers licence (Aircon ticket desirable)
