Workshop Supervisor Diesel Mechanic

Calco Timbers, based in South Geelong, is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Workshop Supervisor to take charge of our workshop operations. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who’s equally comfortable managing a team as they are getting stuck into the tools.

We’re seeking a proactive professional with a strong background in diesel mechanics and a good handle on administrative tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage our maintenance team

• Schedule and prioritise jobs to keep things running smoothly

• Maintain accurate service records and registers

• Order parts and manage workshop inventory

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on:

  • Trucks and trailers

  • Forklifts, utes, and company vehicles

  • Production machinery and other equipment

• Actively take ownership of OHS matters within the department
