Workshop Supervisor - Pre Delivery

Reporting to the Branch Workshop Manager, this position supervises the efficient delivery of new units through our Brisbane workshop to ensure that the highest level of customer support is provided by Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA).

This position is based at Toyota Material Handling's Larapinta site.

Key aspects of the role include (but not limited to): 

• Achieve WHSE KPIs and strive for a zero harm environment
• Supervise the efficient flow of work through the workshop
• Provide guidance to the workshop Pre Delivery staff
• Provide weekly progress reports on new unit production levels
• Provide a high level of customer service in line with TMHA values
• Identify areas of possible growth
• Ensure maximum productivity
• Ensure TMHA policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong mechanical understanding with supervisory skills would be an advantage. 
• Strong safety experience. Completion of safety qualification is desirable;
• Previous experience in IC, Battery Electric and Hydraulics, desirable;
• A high level of product knowledge would be an advantage
• Excellent time management and organisation skills;
• The ability to resolve conflict and motivate staff
• Sound Computer skills including Microsoft Office Word and Excel;
