What is the job
You will be a part of the Australian HQ workshop team, based in Melbourne, and will be reporting directly to the Logistics manager. The company designs, builds and deploys software and hardware. The workshop team is a key part of the business, undertaking repairs to components and also aiding the other technical parts of the business from time to time.
The Melbourne team is dynamic and friendly, and the staff are flexible and focused on our customer’s success. The role is anything but boring, and there is opportunity to grow.
You will work closely with workshop team, and will also have daily interactions with the administration team as well as product development, installation and service team members.
Training will be provided and you will be working with an experienced team who will provide you the support you need as you grow into the role.
The position will suit an applicant located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The Braeside office is easily accessed by the Mornington Peninsula FWY, Nepean Hwy or Eastlink.
The position is a part time role. The role is based on standard office hours of Monday to Friday.
Tasks
The key tasks of the role include:
Workshop based electronic repairs to PC board level
Computer based imaging, configuration and testing of components
Re-furbishing and testing of various products
Controlling spare parts inventory for workshop requirements
Diagnosis and fault reports
Skills
Trade Qualification in Electronics preferred, although demonstrated electronic repair skills may be suitable
Electronics industry work experience using multimeter, oscilloscope
Proven “fine” soldering iron skills for PCB repairs
Proficient with PC and Networking principles
Sound analytical skills in fault-finding and problem solving, including the ability to interpret schematic wiring diagrams
Other valued skills
CRM exposure, especially Sales Force
Computer literate – Microsoft office
Australian driver's license and appropriate work status eligibility required
Police checks conducted on all staff, prior to offer of employment
