Yard Hand

SSH Group, an ASX-listed company, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Yard Hand to join its KMH business unit in a permanent full-time role at the Karratha depot. This is a residential position, and candidates must be residents of the Karratha area to be considered. KMH is a leader in the long and short-term dry hire of quality mobile plant, earthmoving equipment, and mine-site compliant vehicles, supporting mining and civil projects across the state. Our well-established fleet includes over 300 equipment assets, offering diverse operational support. About The Role As a Yard Hand, you will be responsible for detailing and preparing assets for hire, assisting with the off-hiring and on-hiring process, assisting with basic servicing and maintenance tasks, loading and unloading assets, organising assets, maintaining yard cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to support our operations. Job Information Position: Yard Hand.Remuneration: Competitive flat hourly rate plus superannuation on all hours worked.Location: Karratha Depot (Residential Position; candidates must reside locally to be considered).Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time.Leave Entitlements: Standard leave entitlements apply.Work Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10 hours) and Saturday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM (5 hours).Start Date: Immediate start available.Industry: Equipment hire for Mining and Civil sectors.Pay Cycle: Weekly pay. Job Requirements: Valid WA Drivers Licence.HR class Drivers Licence is advantageous.Forklift Licence is advantageous.Experience within a similar position desirable.Capability to work outdoors in the Pilbara environment.Hands on, proactive with a flexible approach to work.The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Punctual with strong work ethic.Committed to working safely and following all safety procedures and policies.Physically fit due to manual handling nature of the role.
