Are you an experienced psychologist looking for a better balance in your work and life?
Whether you're seeking a gentler pace, a supportive team, or a flexible way to continue the work you love, PAWS Psychology offers the space and support to make it happen.
We’re seeking General or Clinical Psychologists with 5+ years’ experience, confident in working with neurodivergent profiles, children aged 5+, adolescents, and families, with availability for afternoon or weekend sessions. Whether you’re easing toward retirement, returning to the workforce, or simply seeking flexibility, we provide the space, support, and autonomy to design a schedule that fits your life.
Rediscover the joy of practice—without the pressures of running a business.
Why PAWS Psychology?Work-Life Balance on Your Terms: No pressure to fill your calendar. Choose your caseload and working days to suit your lifestyle.
Work Alongside Our PAWS Team: As our name suggests, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our beloved therapy animals—two therapy dogs, Bella and Teddy, and two clinic cats, Cloud and Skye.
A New Chapter in a Beautiful Space: In mid-May, we’re relocating just a street away to a stunning new practice set within a residential property at 13 Parsons Rd, Eltham. With a separate dwelling containing three thoughtfully designed and well-equipped consulting rooms, it’s a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home—perfect for clients and clinicians alike.
Convenience and Comfort: A bus stop is just minutes away, and for those who prefer cycling or walking to work (or taking advantage of the aqueduct trail at the end of the road), there’s even an on-site shower available.
Stay Connected to Nature: Our new space continues to support nature-based therapies and walk-and-talk sessions in the tranquil surroundings our clients love.
Complete Admin Support: Focus purely on your clients. We handle bookings, invoicing, and Medicare rebates.
Steady Referrals: A waitlist full of clients, particularly neurodivergent children and families, ready for you from day one.
Competitive Earnings: Session fees of $240 (ongoing) and $300 (initial) ensure excellent earning potential with flexibility.
