About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician (General) to join our growing team. The role involves installing, maintaining, testing, fault finding, and repairing electrical systems across residential and commercial sites. The position requires the ability to work independently and across multiple job locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial environments 
• Perform fault finding, testing, and inspection of electrical installations 
• Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and job schedules 
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements 
• Use electronic job management systems to record work tasks and outcomes 
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal team members 
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment

Skills and Experience 

• Relevant Australian‑recognised electrical trade qualification 
• Minimum of two years’ post‑qualification experience as an Electrician 
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures 
• Ability to work independently and across different job sites 
• Current Northern Territory electrical licence, or ability to obtain 
• White Card (Construction Induction) 
• Current Australian driver’s licence 
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent Australian‑recognised qualification) 
• Northern Territory Electrical Licence (or eligibility to apply)
