About the role
Working within the Media team, as a Senior Digital Media Specialist, you’ll be a primary
go-to resource for day-to-day digital media campaign execution, performance reporting,
analytics, and optimisation. You’ll get involved in everything from providing instrumental
insight and input into digital media strategy proposals, budgets, campaign planning, and
media schedules through to campaign set-up, activation, optimisation, and reporting. You’ll
be instrumental in consulting with both the agency’s internal team and clients throughout
campaign and project lifecycles.
You’ll drive digital campaign setup, account structure, targeting, monitoring, performance
optimisation, conversion optimisation recommendations, and budget management. As a
senior member of this team, you'll often provide guidance and assistance, answering
questions from junior and mid-weight team members. You’re naturally curious and enjoy
utilising market research resources, historic campaign performance, and available data to
help inform and validate your recommendations, thriving on getting granular to untap
potential and get results for our clients. You also like efficiency and are always on the lookout
for how to improve processes, willing to implement testing and automation applications,
evaluating findings, and recommending best practices.
About you
With 5-8+ years’ experience in digital marketing, including campaign management of
targeted B2B & B2C campaigns, you’re used to developing meaningful client relationships
that foster positive outcomes. As a result, you’re comfortable attending client meetings in
relation to campaign reporting and in a project support capacity.
Your career is built on a foundation of deep, hands-on expertise within the Google and Meta
ecosystems, which you consider your primary skill set. You are not just comfortable but also
highly experienced in managing significant annual budgets, with a proven track record of
overseeing $500k - $1M+ on these core platforms to drive performance and ROI.
While your expertise is anchored in search and social, you understand that a truly integrated
strategy requires a comprehensive view of the entire digital landscape. You have a strong
working knowledge of programmatic platforms, digital out-of-home (DOOH), audio
placements, display advertising, and the programmatic BVOD & SVOD space.
As someone who appreciates the power of data and technology, you possess an "AI
mentality"—a genuine curiosity for leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to
uncover hidden value and push campaign boundaries. You are proficient with the broader
marketing suite (Google Analytics, GTM), have experience with project management
software like Jira, and understand how all campaign elements—from creative and content to
SEO and PR—work together to deliver results.
You are an excellent communicator, comfortable supporting in client meetings, and skilled at
managing your time in a busy agency environment. Crucially, you are a collaborative team
player, willing to provide feedback and upskill junior and intermediate team members.
