Structural Drafter

Your Role 

The role of Structural Drafter will play a key part in the continuing growth of our trusted company. You will be required to work closely with the head of the structural team as well as the other lead drafters, while learning new skills in drafting and project coordination. As a member of a small team, you are able to gain a vast amount of experience in all aspects of a project. This will include coordination, design, project management and construction services, from the start to finish of the project. Being involved in all aspects of the project is the best way to fully enhance your experience and work satisfaction.

The successful applicant will have:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of drafting experience 
• A related diploma (or higher!) in engineering 
• Experience working within the Australian consulting environment
• The ability to work autonomously 
• Great communication skills 
• Drive to succeed and grow in knowledge and responsibility

Opportunities and benefits for successful applicant:

• Preparing drawings for foundations, concrete slabs, suspended slabs, columns, stairs, roofs, steel framing, tilt and precast panels, retaining walls, masonry, timber and associated detailing. 
• Attend site inspections.

• Remuneration between $75K – 90K including super depending on experience
