Job summary
Based on site, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily project earthworks and activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on budget and on schedule. The successful candidate will work a 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO roster in remote SA, NT, VIC & NSW. Key responsibilities include: Leading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety; Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules; Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements; Providing effective leadership and supervision through ‘on the ground’ presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals; Providing timely and accurate information to meet management and Client requirements; Maintaining and adhering to the scheduling of project activities; Ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management and the Client; Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner; Inspiring and encouraging others towards goal achievement; Periodically assessing employee performance by conducting scheduled appraisals in accordance with performance objectives and prepares corrective and development plans as necessary.
