Preference will be given to Australian citizens and permanent residents. <h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary.</li><li>Full-time and stable employment.</li><li>Supportive and friendly work environment.</li><li>Opportunity to learn and develop new skills.</li><li>Career growth opportunities.</li><li>Work with an established Australian-owned company.</li><li>Gain experience in food production and quality control.</li></ul> <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct experiments and tests on raw materials and processed potato products to assess their composition, quality and suitability for production.</li><li>Analyse production and testing results to develop and improve food-processing methods, techniques and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Research and develop practical solutions to improve product quality, consistency, shelf life and production efficiency.</li><li>Test finished food products for flavour, colour, taste, texture, appearance and nutritional content to ensure they meet required standards.</li><li>Evaluate the quality of potatoes and other ingredients used in production and advise on their suitability for different product ranges.</li><li>Assist in developing new frozen potato products and improving existing products in response to quality requirements and market needs.</li><li>Conduct product and processing trials under different production, cooking, storage and delivery conditions and assess the reliability of the results.</li><li>Advise on appropriate methods for processing, preserving, freezing, packaging, storing and distributing food products.</li><li>Develop, review and implement quality-control procedures and food-safety standards for the manufacture of frozen potato products.</li><li>Monitor production processes and finished-product quality to identify variations, defects and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Investigate quality concerns and production issues, determine their causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions.</li><li>Support compliance with HACCP requirements, food-safety regulations and relevant product certification standards.</li><li>Liaise with farmers, suppliers and production personnel regarding raw-material quality, product specifications and processing requirements.</li><li>Prepare and maintain product specifications, testing records, trial results, quality reports and other technical documentation.</li><li>Provide technical advice and training to production and quality-control staff on product quality, testing procedures and food-safety requirements.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Food Technology, Food Science or a related field.</li><li>At least one year of relevant industry experience.</li><li>Good knowledge of food safety, quality-control procedures and HACCP requirements.</li><li>Understanding of food-processing, packaging and storage methods.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good communication, teamwork and record-keeping skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet production and quality requirements.</li></ul>

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Renewable Energy and Climate Change Coordinator to join our Caring for Country - Gobata Dja Team.
This position is based in Ballarat or Geelong with travel to various locations on Wadawurrung Country as required.
Reporting to the Healthy Country Manager, this role will coordinate WTOAC's renewable energy and climate change projects and build strong relationships with Traditional Owners, government, industry and other stakeholders. You will help shape renewable energy and climate change initiatives that protect Country and support Wadawurrung priorities and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
<ul>
<li>Coordinate renewable energy and climate change projects, priorities, budgets and planning.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with renewable energy proponents, government, industry and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Support the development and implementation of renewable energy and climate change strategies and initiatives.</li>
<li>Coordinate the implementation of WTOAC's Climate Action Strategy.</li>
<li>Support and guide members of the Renewable Energy and Climate Change team.</li>
<li>Coordinate engagement and information sharing with Wadawurrung Traditional Owners.</li>
<li>Prepare reports, briefs and information for key internal stakeholders.</li>
<li>Identify funding opportunities to support renewable energy and climate change projects.</li>
</ul>
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
<ul>
<li>Experience in renewable energy, climate change, sustainability, environmental management, project coordination or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience coordinating projects, including planning, budgets, reporting and delivery.</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.</li>
<li>The ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal people, Communities and Traditional Owners.</li>
<li>A current Victorian Driver's Licence.</li>
</ul>
Desirable: A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience working within a Traditional Owner Corporation or Aboriginal organisation.
