<p style="text-align:justify;">Ampricon Group Pty Ltd trading as Trev’s Security is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join its team on a full-time basis in Gladstone Central, Queensland.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing and maintaining websites and web-based applications that support the company’s customer service, digital operations and technology-enabled security services.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">Working closely with management and operational staff, the Web Developer will analyse user and business requirements and translate them into reliable, secure and user-friendly web solutions.</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Salary in the arrange of $78,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.</li><li>Full-time employment with Ampricon Group Pty Ltd.</li><li>Opportunity to develop and enhance business-critical websites and web applications.</li><li>Exposure to databases, integrations, digital security and technology-enabled business services.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment.</li></ul><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="text-align:justify;">Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into functional website and web application specifications.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Design, develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications using appropriate programming and scripting languages, frameworks and development tools.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Develop web-based applications, online forms, customer interfaces, dashboards and digital workflows supporting business operations.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Develop and maintain databases and integrate websites and web applications with APIs, third-party systems and relevant business software.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Write, modify, test and debug website and web application code to ensure functionality, reliability and compatibility.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Implement appropriate website and web-server security measures, including authentication, user access controls, backup and recovery procedures.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Optimise websites and web applications for performance, accessibility, responsiveness and compatibility across different browsers and devices.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Monitor, diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting websites, web applications, databases and integrations.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Maintain website architecture, programming code, databases and associated technical documentation.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Research emerging web technologies and contribute to web-based strategies, development plans and improvements to the company’s digital platforms.</li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="text-align:justify;">Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in **Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, Software Development or a related discipline**, or equivalent relevant skills and experience.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">At least one year of demonstrated professional experience in web development.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining websites and web-based applications using programming and scripting technologies.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Experience working with databases, APIs and web-system integrations.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Knowledge of website security, authentication, access control, backup and recovery practices.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Experience in testing, debugging, troubleshooting and optimising web applications.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and translate user requirements into practical web solutions.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Good communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul>
